Play RSI is a free Android multimedia application developed by RSI Radiotelevisione Svizzera that allows users to access Italian-speaking Swiss Radio and Television programs anywhere, anytime. The app offers a wide range of features, including quick access to the latest video and audio content from various categories, such as information, sports, documentaries, culture, music, entertainment, TV series and films, children and young people. Additionally, users can search for content by release date and keyword, view an A-Z list of programs, and create a list of their favorite shows and receive notifications when new episodes are available.
Play RSI also allows users to listen to live radio and scroll back up to six hours, download some contents to consume them offline, and listen to content in the background while using another application. Moreover, users can broadcast the content on a large TV screen via Chromecast. However, it is important to note that the use of the application can result in a significant consumption of data, leading to increased costs. Additionally, some content may not be available outside Switzerland due to restrictions on broadcasting rights.
